Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for passionate and customer obsessed Enterprise Data solution architects to help sell and deliver complex data advisory and implementation projects on premise and on Cloud. You'll work with smart people across our industry specialist organisations, and technology groups to help our customers get the most out of Data journey. The role is based in Thailand and will include travel in the APAC/ASEAN region.
Job Responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibility as the Data Architect is to advise clients with respect to developing and/or optimizing their conceptual and logical data systems. To succeed in this role, you should know how to examine new data system requirements, deploy and configure data ingestion, storage, integration and analytical components and implement data and model migration.
• Coordinate with clients, data users and key stakeholders and develop, implement various long-term data architecture objectives
• Design and implement short term solutions to achieve all goals and prepare data roadmap for Clients
• Document as-is and define design principles, standards, guidelines and roadmap toward target data architecture
• Communicate and evangelize the enterprise architecture, principles, standards and guidelines to relevant stakeholders
• Strong communication, presentation, project management and time management skills
• Deep knowledge of Data on Cloud ecosystem such as products, vendors, market demands, technical SWOT
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Data Enterprise Architect
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Cloud Technical Architecture
• Minimum of 5 years experience in consultative selling and sales enablement
• Good understanding of Data Powered Enterprise sales approach and differentiators
• Skilled in leading cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, Azure and few cloud-first data products or solutions.
• Understanding of technical challenges or opportunities to Data Architecture from Cloud like Network, Data Trust, Cluster Management, Data Pipeline Management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Has a minimum of 8 years of experience in data warehousing and big data architecture solutions.
• Lead the design of architectural roadmaps, database, data access and data technology architectures
• Provide expertise on the overall data eco-system's engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical resolutions
• Knowledge and hands-on expertise in the following technologies: Cloud Data Lakes, RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data Hadoop technologies, distributed technologies, ETL tools, data modeling for transactional as well as reporting focuses.
• Experience in technologies like: Apache Spark, Cloudera, Apache Kafka, Kenesis, BI and Datawarehousing, Hive, Presto, Flume, Storm
• Team player, strong influence, and relationship management skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
