Your Role and Responsibilities

What you will do:
This role sits within IBM iX ASEAN. As part of the Customer Platforms team within IBM iX, The Digital Commerce Solution Lead will be responsible for building differentiated Commerce offerings based on market leading Commerce Packages such as Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce and Commercetools to enable differentiated customer experiences.
The Commerce Solution Lead is expected to grow Commerce Practice, work closely with IBM Go To Market Teams, ISVs and other ecosystem partners to shape up and build new opportunities.
The Commerce Solution Lead will advise clients on Commerce solution strategy with end to end Integrated Commerce Architecture and roadmap to enable Omni-channel commerce.
Familiarity with key eCommerce enablement platforms such as Order Management Systems, Inventory Management, Product Information Management, Web Analytics and Point of Sales systems is required. Hands on working experience on these platforms is preferred

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
What you need to succeed:

• 10+ Years of experience in Technology Consulting and client facing roles.
• Minimum 5+ years of working with one or more Commerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hybris or Commercetools.
• Experience architecting large scale commerce implementations , especially on Adobe Commerce, is desired
• Experience with the ASEAN market
• Work closely with client stakeholders to design and develop client strategies around eCommerce solutions
• Participate in design and solution blueprint workshops with clients to build AS IS/TO BE eCommerce Solution Architecture.
• Lead multiple offshore IBM teams to deliver client projects successfully.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as Web Analytics, personalization, affiliate marketing, conversion funnels etc.
• Understand and appreciate UX Design and work closely with Design teams to define user journeys and prototypes. Validate technical feasibility of UX with Commerce Platform(s) UI framework.
  

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with Headless Commerce Architecture, understanding of business benefits and use cases for Headless design approach.
• Experience of working in pre-sales and responding to client RFPs. Develop differentiated solutions and value propositions. Estimate work, propose implementation plans, identifying key delivery risks, solution pricing etc.
