As a Brand Technical Sales, you will apply your expertise in engaging with top technology architects in IBM. Aside from partner facing role, you will apply your deep domain expertise to propose and build innovative and repeatable offerings that are powered by IBM products. In addition, will apply your deep domain expertise across the entire IBM portfolio, identify gaps and work with product teams to build solutions that partners can take to market using Turbonomics and IBM Cloud Pak.
Turbonomic's Application Resource Management (ARM) platform continuously assures that applications get precisely the right resources needed to perform, while maintaining policy compliance and eliminating overspending. Our Network Performance Management (NPM) technology provides modern monitoring and analytics solutions that organizations need to monitor their network infrastructure, and simplifies the extraction and enrichment of metric, flow, and streaming telemetry data across multi-vendor networks enabling enterprises, carriers, and managed service providers to ensure optimal network operations and performance. Our ideal candidate is someone that is highly motivated, collaborative and a self-starter and will play a direct role in driving our growing market share and helping us build Turbonomic into the crown jewel of IBMs IT resurgence.


Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Turbonomic Platform Expert
  • White-boarding Guru
  • Product Demo Master
  • Agent of Change
  • Pre-sales Consultant
  • Voice of the Customer to Engineering
As a Brand Technical Sales, you will
  • Learn the Turbonomic value proposition across Performance, Compliance and Efficiency.
  • Use consultative selling to identify customer pain points associated with large virtual and cloud environments
  • Lead technical presentations in person and assist sales directors with business impact presentations
  • Conduct product demonstrations online (WebEx) and in-person
  • Convey and document technical requirements to prove business value across organizations
  • Address all pre-sales technical questions related to the full Proof of Value cycle
  • Provide technical assistance within POVs and assist other regions if needed

  • You will have access to top experts across all IBM Business units like Cloud, Data &AI,Automation and AI Apps
  • You will work on highly innovative solutions across a wide spectrum of technologies.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Interest in virtualization (VCP-DCV) and cloud computing architectures.
  • Experience in data center infrastructure or related field in a sales engineering or consulting capacity
  • Experience with sales prospects in person, understanding complex environments and delivering the Turbonomic value propositions effectively
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and passionate team player who is driven to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, and high activity environment
  • Strong affinity for customer relationship management and requirements gathering
  • Understanding of the virtualization management competitive landscape, and technical features of competing products within the ecosystem
  • Astute in presenting to and conversing with customers; ability to deliver technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Interest in the data center interdependencies around the virtualization layer, including: storage, security, network infrastructure, applications, etc.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field. CS, Economics, or Engineering is a plus
