The Digital Business Analyst plays a role in implementing web and mobile solutions. Under general supervision, the Digital Business Analyst performs digital research, development of business requirements, use cases and functional specifications for client-facing digital projects. A primary focus is to understand the needs of the business as a whole, identify digital solutions that are aligned with strategic goals, translate requirements into user stories, as well as researching digital best practices and testing new innovative technologies.

• Manages projects through analysis, requirements, functional specifications, project communication, training, testing and quality assurance, and project deliverables documentation.
• Serve as "Product Owner" responsible for ensuring the digital solutions implemented delivers value to end-clients and the business and provides the team all required project deliverables documentation.
• Define audience needs and translate those into requirements, user stories and functional specs.
• Establishes user story acceptance criteria and ensures each story meets the acceptance criteria. Documents all use cases, test results and retest as necessary.
• Efficiently employs client relationship management skill to lead cross-functional resources such as business owners, marketing, services, IT, legal and compliance to implement small to medium scale digital initiatives
• Monitors, evaluates and performs competitor analysis of others in industry and general digital technologies best practices
• Keeps abreast of new channels and emerging technologies supporting digital marketing (web, mobile, social, SEO);
• Identifies digital solutions that are aligned with strategic goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Computer and Information Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years business analyst experience or related field is required. Knowledge of financial services industries preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working on web, mobile and digital projects.
• Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
• Motivated self-starter who is able to work independently.
• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications.
